Rocket Ice Skating Rink is the place to take skating lessons and hockey lessons near Chicago. Our skating rink also offers public skating hours, lessons and a space to have parties and groups.

Chicago Public School District, do you have a day off school? Rocket Ice Skating rink offers two hours of Rockin’ Public Ice Skating. Freestyle ice has two extra hours of ice on your days off school. Hockey players get at least four hours of “Stick and Puck” to practice shooting, skating and scoring in their full equipment. Rocket Ice Skating rink is the place for Chicago families to come to on days off school!

Ice Skating Lessons

Ice skating lessons near Chicago! Our ice skating facility offers ice skating lessons for all ages and skating levels. Our ice skating instructors will meet with you once a week and help you develop your skills. We also give our students a VIP Skater card that allows them to skate for free at Rocket Ice during the weeks of their lessons, so they will be able to practice what they learn at their convenience.

Youth Hockey

We offer hockey lessons for ages 3 - 14. Our instructors are professional and love teaching students the fundamentals of hockey.

Rocket Ice is also home to the Sabre Hockey Association, one of the largest hockey organizations in Illinois serving Chicago residents and local communities.

Adult Hockey

Adult Hockey is available all year long for adults. We offer a variety of hockey options such as:

Figure Skating

Rocket Ice is excited to share our love for figure skating with our Chicago customers. Our figure skating instructors are passionate about teaching students the skills they need to take it to the next level. We offer figure skating competitions, Freestyle Ice, and synchronized skating.
